Sage Living is a luxury furniture and interiors brand offering ready-to-ship collections, bespoke furniture, and interior solutions. Recognised for its craftsmanship, material innovation, and contemporary design approach, the brand has established itself as one of India's few design-led luxury furniture players.

design challenge

Despite its strong market presence, Sage Living's branding lacked the sophistication and narrative expected of a luxury brand. The identity focused heavily on products, making it difficult for audiences to understand the philosophy and design thinking that differentiated the brand.

Inconsistencies across visual applications and communication further weakened brand recall and diluted the premiums experience.

Design Approach

Our approach was to create a holistic luxury brand system that extended beyond visual identity and engaged customers across multiple sensory touchpoints. Through market research and brand audits, we identified an opportunity to position Sage Living as "India Nouveau"—a contemporary expression of Indian luxury rooted in craftsmanship, materiality, and design excellence.

The concept drew from the dual meaning of "Sage": the wisdom of a guide and the restorative qualities of the sage leaf. Together, these ideas informed a narrative centred on knowledge, nature, craftsmanship, and timeless design.
